THE PLANNING GUIDE
Give your next move a destination.
A useful move does two things: it helps the passengers who can board now, and leaves a route for the passengers who come next.
Start with the passenger queue
Find the next accessible passenger color before choosing a bus. A matching color further back may still be out of reach. If your version uses a looping passenger route, watch which group is actually entering the boarding area.
Work backward from the bus you need
Find a vehicle that serves that color, then examine its exit. If another vehicle is blocking it, that blocker becomes part of your plan. Count the spaces the entire plan needs, rather than just the first move.
Give an empty bay a job
An unused space is a way to bring in a missing color later. For example, when the queue needs blue but a yellow bus blocks the blue exit, a spare bay lets you move yellow first. If every bay is already occupied, the same position may be stuck.
Watch for progress before tapping again
Boarding can continue after your last tap. A changing passenger count tells you that a bus is still doing useful work. Let it finish and release its space before adding another vehicle merely because one is available.
Read a walkthrough as a changing board
Pause after the bus leaves the yard. Compare the remaining passengers, occupied bays and newly exposed buses with your own screen. Matching these checkpoints is more reliable than memorizing a rapid list of colors.
Know which game you are playing
The official app and our practice game share the broad ideas of matching colors and managing access, but use different boards. Use the mobile walkthroughs for official levels and the hint button inside the practice yard for our puzzles.
